Welcome to Lake Hallie Golf
Welcome to Lake Hallie Golf, the number one option for a round of golf in Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley. This course has been a popular staple of our region since it first opened in 1925. The course has recently come under new ownership and it has also been newly remodeled. These days Lake Hallie features a blend of tradition and a modern feel that make it one of the best in the country. This is truly a must-play Wisconsin golf course.
Chippewa Valley...Golf at its Finest
All of the amenities and small touches are nice, but the real star of the show at Lake Hallie Golf is the 18 challenging holes built along picturesque the Chippewa River and Lake Hallie. Our course boasts unique, exciting fairway designs to encourage strategic, thought-provoking options as well as dramatically-placed tee boxes, the perfect balance of hazards, and scenery that keeps the course enjoyable for a wide range of skill levels. This course has a lot to offer for everyone, from occasional players to avid golfers.
Finally, don't forget to set aside the time to stop in the clubhouse and say hello. We can't wait to meet you!

He owned and operated Moore’s Texaco for many years and then was a valued employee at Eau Claire Printing for many more. He found his love of golf and spent numerous years working at Lake Hallie Golf where his fellow co-workers/patrons were family to him. He loved to have all that were near and dear join in his “Vernie Scrambles.” Vern had a passion for attending area High School sporting events and attended so many with such pride. Vern was a devoted father, grandfather and friend to many.
He is survived by his son Randy Moore, and granddaughter Amanda Gessner. He is further survived by his ex-wife, and lifelong friend, Barbara A. (Charlie) Eisenhuth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Erv Harschlip; sister, Faye Moore; and his son, Steven (Weiner) Moore.
Vern was a very special person to a great number of people and left a mark on every life he touched. His friends and extended families meant the world to him and were too numerous to count. Vern’s lifelong loyalty and impact at Lake Hallie Golf was immense. His wit, dry humor and mischievous smile were part of the landscape there. He will be dearly missed by many.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Hallie Golf on Sunday, February 16, 2014 beginning at 12:00 pm.
Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take with nothing that you have received….Only what you have given; a legacy of life and a mountain of memories that will be shared for many years to come.
